Election Information

The Sabinal ISD Board of Trustees consists of seven elected members,
serving terms of three years, with elections held annually. The terms of one-third of the
Board members, or as nearly one-third as possible, expire each year. School Board
elections for the District are on the May uniform election date.
The Sabinal ISD will hold an Election on Saturday, May 7, 2022. Three Board Members
will be on the ballot to serve three-year terms, and one un-expired position will be on the
ballot to serve the remaining two-year terms.
The filing period for a place on the General Election ballot begins on January 19, 2022
and ends on February 18, 2022, at 5:00 pm. Candidates may file at the District’s Central
Office, 409 W Cullins Ave., Sabinal, Texas 78881, regular business hours are Monday –
Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. The last day to file a Declaration of Write-In Candidacy is
February 12, 2022.
