TSI Administration - Placement test used to determine eligibility for dual credit courses and required for college entrance. 

Students must complete the TSI pre-assessment and the Applytexas application before taking the TSI.

ASVAB – Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery – used to determine vocational strengths and weaknesses (Juniors and Seniors)

SWTJC Scholarship- Applications are available in the counselor’s office.


Sabinal Athletic Booster Club Scholarship- The purpose of the scholarship is to recognize athletic achievement, promote good sportsmanship, and encourage high scholastic achievement among all athletes and to assist with cost of higher education. (Applications available in the counselor’s office, must be an athletics participant to apply)


National Honor Society Scholarship- This scholarship is awarded to high school seniors who are NHS members in good standing. Go to www.MHS.us/students/the-nhs-scholarship/ to apply. For more information contact nhs@nhs.us


Rebekah Assembly of Texas Scholarship- This scholarships is available to any Texas resident planning to attend a two or four year college/ university. Scholarship is based on academic ability, community service, and personal development and financial need. Applicant must submit a completed application along with high school transcript, three reference letters and a typed essay. Interested students must write to the address below for an application. (Deadline: January 31)

Don’t Mess with Texas-The Don’t mess with Texas Scholarship recognizes the achievements of high school seniors who have taken leadership roles to prevent litter in their schools and/or communities and build awareness of the Don’t mess with Texas initiative. Any Texas high school senior currently attending public, private or home school, and planning to attend an accredited Texas college or university in the coming year, is eligible to apply.
