If you are using your own device...

Hey everyone,
I understand that not all of you will be accessing your materials through a school supplied Chromebook and will be using your own device instead. In order to have the best experience possible it is recommended that you use the Chrome web browser. Sabinal ISD is fully integrated with G Suite for Education and is the preferred method for delivering online instruction. Another benefit to using the Chrome web browser with your Sabinal ISD G Suite account is that we can push the recommended software extensions that your teachers want you to use without your intervention. Please note that the ability to install software extensions remotely only applies to the Chrome browser for Windows, Mac, and Linux - because of the nature of other mobile devices that run on Apple iOS or Android those extensions are not available in that regard and other avenues of functionality will have to be pursued as a separate App.
Please read further for instructions on how you can install Chrome on your own home computer or laptop if you have not already done so.
Lastly, if you find that you are not able to complete the steps necessary to install the Chrome web browser on your personal device, you can contact the Sabinal ISD Technology Department and we will attempt to assist you the best that we can. Please send all support requests to the Sabinal ISD Technology Helpdesk email address at In the subject line of the email put the general issue that you are having and in the body of the email supply us with your name and a good contact phone number where you may be reached.
