On August 12, 2022 the State preliminary academic accountability ratings were released to Sabinal ISD. The District and Sabinal High School maintained their “B” ratings. Dramatic improvement at the Sabinal Elementary campus with an “A” rating and a “C” rating at Sabinal Junior High. Ratings for Texas schools were suspended in 2020 and 2021 due to the negative effect on teaching and learning created by COVID. Considering the COVID interruptions to schools over the past two and a half school years, our student progress is an outstanding accomplishment. These outcomes are a direct result of the dedicated and talented teachers in Sabinal ISD and the quality of education provided to the students attending our schools.
