Parent Access to Attendance and Grades. Having an Ascender Parent Portal account will allow you to set alerts to grades and attendance and get a PDF version of report cards and progress reports. Parents may add multiple students to the same Ascender account.

Insights Assessment
In order to gauge how each child is doing in their social-emotional learning and skill development, we assess the students using a platform called Insights. This assessment assesses skills related to managing emotions, building relationships, making responsible decisions, etc. We use this information to see what types of lessons specific classrooms would benefit from the most. For guardians who provided consent, we will be conducting the assessment on September 24, 2025.

School Climate Survey

Sabinal ISD is doing a School Climate Survey to learn about students’ perceptions of safety, relationships, and support at school. This survey is part of our work with the Stronger Connections Grant and aligns with the Student Support Framework. For guardians who provided permission, this survey will be conducted between 10/6/25 and 11/14/25.
