Sabinal ISD Now Accepting Student Transfer for 2022-2023 School Year
July 26, 2022

We are encouraging parents who want a choice of where their children attend school, to please consider Sabinal ISD. If a parent would like more information or possibly meet the principal or tour our schools, please contact Mrs. Beth Brady, Sabinal Elementary principal at 988-2436 and/or Mr. Steve Alvarado, Sabinal Middle and High School principal at 988-2475.
Sabinal ISD provides a comprehensive academic offerings as well as extra-curricular programs commonly found only in larger schools yet we maintain the conservative values of a small community. Parents appreciate having a closer relationship between their child and our teachers. Class size at our elementary is approximately 12 students per grade level teacher. At the Middle School class size is approximately 15 students per teacher and at the High School class size averages less than 9 students to each teacher.
Our facilities throughout the District have been fully renovated and capable of providing a 21st Century
education. Our technology capabilities are second to none. Furthermore, our facilities are safe regarding student disciplinary issues and our “multilayered” school safety and security protocols and procedures. In fact, this summer we have conducted two independent facility and safety audits to ensure our doors, windows, and all other security features will keep our students and staff safe. Our High School is now a P-TECH Early College campus for Career Technology course offerings. All of our extra-curricular programs have experienced great success the past few years with fine arts CTE and athletic programs all advancing in their respective programs.
Sabinal ISD is a destination district as nearly 20% of our student body are residents in surrounding communities. We will continue to provide transportation services depending on the number of students
from any particular community.
If this sounds like a good choice for your children, please stop by to meet with the principal or complete the Student Transfer documents and email or mail-in your child’s application.
Registration opens at each campus on Monday August 1, 2022 8:30-4:00 and the first day of school is
Monday, August 15th.
