YELLOWJACKET COACHES

Coach Kowalski is starting his 29th year as a football coach and his 6th year as the AD for Sabinal. In 2022 he led the Yellowjackets to their first undefeated season in 100 years. Under his leadership the Yellowjackets have been District Champs ('22) and Bi-District Champs ('22, '23).

His wife Jamie is the Dyslexia Specialist for Sabinal and the surrounding districts. He has two children, Kinzie and Grayson. 

Coach Stiteler is starting her 33rd year as a teacher and coach.  Prior to her years at Sabinal ISD she taught/coached in Comfort, Hondo and Grand Prairie.

Coach Stiteler has devoted thousands of hours promoting athletics and education for girls.  She is passionate about science and science behind sport training.

Coach Stiteler's husband, Hank Stiteler is also on staff as the defensive coordinator and assistant track coach.

Coach Stiteler has three grown children, Jordan VanDamme, Aaron Oefinger, and Carson Oefinger and (bonus kid, Grace Stiteler). She is looking forward to the birth of her first two grandkids this summer and fall.

​Coach Hank Stiteler is in his 22nd year as a Teacher/Coach and currently serves as the Defensive Coordinator and Track Coach, while also teaching Health and Math Lab. My wife, Coach Lauren Stiteler, Daugher Grace Stiteler (14).

Coach Willis will be our K-6th PE teacher this year. She brings 18 years of experience to Sabinal and will be a great asset to our JH girls program. She will be coaching all of our junior high girls teams this year. 

Coach Willis has 2 children, Avery and Reed. 

Coach Clark is starting his 8th year with Sabinal ISD and his 6th year as a Yellowjacket coach. He takes over as the offensive coordinator this year for the Yellowjackets. He will begin his 2nd year as the head track coach, hoping to build upon last years success.

Coach Clark's wife, Jessica, is a counselor at Wools Intermediate in Hondo. He has 3 children, Thomas, Ada, and Jensen.

Coach Eitze is starting his 5th year as a teacher and coach with SHS. Over the last five years he has been the defensive line coach for football, the JH boys basketball coach, and the assistant baseball coach. This year Coach Eitze will take over as the head baseball coach and looks forward to this new chapter in his coaching career.

Coach Eitze is married to his wife Kacie who is an emergency room nurse for Medina Regional Hospital.

Jennifer Jackson is entering her 17th year of teaching in both elementary and secondary grades. Her first coaching position was cheerleading for 11 seasons.  Jackson is entering her third year as the head coach for cross country and tennis for both junior high and high school.  She trained for 5K races in her 20s and 30s and feels that running helps keep her health in check.  Jackson grew up playing tennis in Los Angeles at the age of six, played varsity tennis for Floresville High School, winning many titles and accolades. As an adult, she played tennis with the Concho Valley Tennis Association and served as a board member for a short while.  “Coaching young athletes is an opportunity to use athletics to model how to be a transformative learner, which leads to a transformative leader, and how to live with a mission mindset.”  

Jackson attended Angelo State University, studying Journalism, Communications, and Aerospace studies.  She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts in 2002 from ASU.   Jackson later received a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in technology and online learning environments from Southern New Hampshire University in 2022.  She plans to head back to earn a doctorate degree.

Coach Goodson

Coach Rodriguez is starting his 2nd year as a Yellowjacket coach. Coach Rod is the elementary PE aide and coaches football and baseball.

Coach Sanchez is starting his 8th year as a coach and teacher for the Yellowjackets. He returns this year as the head girls basketball and head girls softball coach and will rejoin the Yellowjacket football team. 

​

Coach Sanchez's wife, Amber, is a Lady Jacket coach and will be assisting him with basketball. Together they have a son, Isaiah.
